All the dancers gets a chance to showcase their talent on various platforms. All the non-dancers gets a chance to watch beautiful performances and tap their toes on the rhythm. And The Blooming Began....

As all Bharatnatyam dancers know the meaning of ' Alara ' ...meaning to bloom, I too started blooming from the very first day I joined the training. Starting with all the energy, enthusiasm and spirit the learning experience began...  The eager and curiosity about learning new steps was the key driving force to move on. The beauty and love for Bharatnatyam were attracting me more and more towards itself. The anxiety to learn all the basic steps i.e.  Adavus  was high. The stamina sometimes was not enough to cope up but the mind was not ready to stop. The days passed and we were done with our Adavus.....What a great feeling it was...the feeling of achieving something...that time that "something" was much more to me...But as I move forward I realized it was just a drop in the ocean of knowledge...but how sweet it really was! How did I start learning Bharatnatyam....

Hello, Now almost after 16 years when I look back and think how did I start learning Bharatnatyam, it simply creates a smile on my face... What a wonderful memory it was I must say... I and my cousin sister went to explore the Bharatnatyam dance Class which was run by a family friend and it turned out so influential that on the very first day we came out after doing first two steps from the very first lesson Tattadavu...the happiness and joy were received can't be expressed in words...And this classical journey called Dance began that day...
